In the heart of Provence

The bastide, which overlooks the Massif of Sainte Baume, a pilgrims’ Mecca since the Middle Ages, enjoys an exceptional location.
No sooner have you entered the hotel grounds than you can see a succession of vineyards. And there is a wide variety of tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity.

Cultural activities

The entire history of Provence can be experienced in its many cultural sites:
the village of Nans-les-Pins, the Basilica of Saint-Maximin-la- Sainte-Baume, the largest Gothic edifice in south-east France, Le Thoronet Abbey, Notre-Dame de la Garde in Marseille, the Cézanne Workshop and the Vasarely foundation in Aix en Provence.

And from 25 May to 27 September, take advantage of the Events organised by the Community of Pays d’Aix to visit the “Picasso-Cézanne Exhibition” running at the Granet Museum in Aix-en-Provence.

Outdoor activities

There is a variety of outdoor activities to be enjoyed in close proximity to the hotel.
Horse lovers can go to the Equestrian Centre of Nans-les-Pins (2 km) for an introductory lesson or a trek to the Massif of Sainte Baume (possible for riders of all levels). Children will have fun at the pony club.

You can also explore green Provence by foot or mountain bike. Along the walker’s paths there is a sun-kissed Provence just waiting to be discovered.
The best: getting to the top of the Massif of Sainte Baume to enjoy the stunning views of the Bay of Bandol.
